Lethbridge NDP candidate nominated for Federal Election

Lethbridge has its New Democrat Party candidate for the upcoming federal election.
Shandi Bleiken was nominated earlier this week.
Describing herself as a community organizer and queer activist, Bleiken has lived in Lethbridge since 2014 and worked at both Lethbridge College and at the University of Lethbridge where she is currently.
She says she’s ready to stand up for universal pharmacare, affordable housing, climate justice, Indigenous and immigrant rights, and economic opportunities for all.
While the federal election has yet to be called, it must take place on or before October 21st.
