UPDATE: Power restored in south Lethbridge

UPDATE: Power has been restored to the area impacted by an earlier outage. According to the City of Lethbridge Power Outage Map, the cause was an electrical failure.

There is an unplanned power outage impacting some customers on the south side of Lethbridge, including parts of Mayor Magrath Drive.

According to the City of Lethbridge Power Outage Map, the outage started at 2:51 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21 and is impacting 2,201 customers.

The cause of the outage is under investigation.

Drivers are asked to treat impacted intersections with lights as a four-way stop.
