Fort Macleod residents are advised that the local health centre’s emergency department is set to temporarily close.
Alberta Health Services says it is due to a lack of physician coverage.
The closure is in effect as of 8 a.m. on Wednesday, January 22.
Nursing staff will stay on-site to provide support for long-term care residents.
