The city is looking to the community for input on how to they can maintain and enhance Henderson Lake Park in the future.
The City of Lethbridge launched an online survey that will help shape the city’s new strategic plan for the area which includes the 24-hectare lake, Spitz Stadium, Henderson Outdoor Pool, Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden and the Lethbridge and District Exhibition.
Parks Planning Manager Andrew Sommerville says the end goal is to create a plan that will outline “strategies, designs and priority projects” to not only keep the area a usable space but also make it better.
“Henderson Park is very special to our community. We’re excited to give residents a chance to share their ideas on how we can improve this wonderful space into the future,” Sommerville says.
