Multiple north Lethbridge roads closed as crews fix wastewater pipe leak

Commuters in Lethbridge are being advised of multiple road closures. 

On Thursday morning, officials reported that crews have been sent out to fix a sanitary pipe leak on the north side of Lethbridge. 

The area closed off are: 

  • 26 Avenue North from 36 Street North to 43 Street North; 
  • Giffen Road North from 35 Street North to 36 Street North, and 39 Street North to 43 Street North; 
  • 39 Street North from 24 Avenue North to 26 Avenue North. 

No timeline for completion has been reported and the City of Lethbridge says the closures will stay in place until further notice.
