A mix of warmer weather, high winds and dry conditions has led to a fire advisory being issued for the county.
According to Lethbridge County officials, as of Wednesday, burn permits are still valid, however people are being reminded there should be no burning when winds reach the speed of 25 kilometres an hour or more. Campfires and burning barrels are also still allowed but with caution.
According to a release from the county, “If conditions do not improve, the County may issue a Fire Restriction or Fire Ban.”
