Police cadets to take part in low light gun exercises

Lethbridge Police Service officials are warning residents near their practice facility that police cadets be taking part in low and no-light fire exercises Friday night, and to not be alarmed if they hear rounds go off.

According to LPS, cadets will be taking part in a shooting exercise at the police range to simulate low to no light scenarios. The exercise is expected to be happening between 2 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.

LPS carry out similar scenarios several times a year at their range.
