Lethbridge has among the lowest rental rates of 35 reported municipalities: Rentals.ca

Lethbridge is among the lowest rental rates out of the 35 cities surveyed in the Rentals.ca and Urban nation National Rent Report finishing 30th in February.

A one-bedroom apartment in February on average costing $1,204, up 20.5 per cent compared to the same month the previous year. A two-bedroom apartment in the city saw a year-over-year increase of 18.2 per cent on average costing $1,365.

Across Canada, rent prices saw a 9.7 percent year-over-year increase with Alberta seeing a 14.5 percent increase in February. The average rent for a one-bedroom across the province costs $1,272 for February.

Grande Prairie finished last on the list again with a one-bedroom apartment costing $966 and a two-bedroom costing $1,186. Vancouver and Toronto remain the two most expensive places for rent in the country. The average rent for a one-bedroom in Vancouver is $2,640, and in Toronto is $2,501. Calgary finished 26th on the list, and Edmonton finished 32nd with Red Deer coming in 31st.
