Lethbridge man arrested and charged twice in two days

A 58-year-old Lethbridge man has been charged with drug trafficking offenses twice in two days.

The Lethbridge Police Service says that after 7 p.m. on December 7, officers saw a man with outstanding warrants for his arrest.

He was arrested and after a search, police say they seized over seven grams of fentanyl (equal to about 70 doses, with some pre-portioned), along with a knife and cash.

The man was released after a mid-day bail hearing on December 8 with conditions prohibiting him from possessing or using drugs.
