Hurricanes ready to battle Wheat Kings in first-round of WHL playoffs

The Lethbridge Hurricanes are all geared up for the post-season.

The Western Hockey League team is set to face the Brandon Wheat Kings in the first round of the 2025 playoffs and hold home ice advantage.

The Lethbridge club wrapped up the 2024-25 regular season this weekend with a 4-2 win against Edmonton Friday night, and a 10-1 to Medicine Hat on Saturday.

Despite the loss to cap off the regular season, the playoffs mark a fresh start, and that is where the focus lies.
