Hurricanes’ Chadwick, Yager make WHL All-Star teams for 2024-25 season

A couple of Lethbridge Hurricanes have been recognized by the Western Hockey League.

As the club competes in the post-season, Noah Chadwick and Brayden Yager have been named to WHL All-Star teams for the 2024-25 regular season.

Defenceman Noah Chadwick was named to the Eastern Conference First All-Star Team, while forward Brayden Yager was named to the conference’s Second All-Star Team.

NOAH CHADWICK

The 19-year-old Noah Chadwick serves as the Lethbridge team’s captain and through 66 regular season games, he scored 13 goals and dished out 40 assists. His 53 points put him in 11th among all blueliners in the league, with his 21 power-play assists tied for seventh.

The Saskatoon skater is a prospect for the NHL’s Toronto Maple Leafs, and 2024-25 marked his second straight season with 50 points or more. Selected 38th overall in the second round of the 2020 WHL Prospects Draft, Chadwick has scored 32 goals and recorded 100 assists (132 points) through 212 career WHL regular season matchups.

At the end of the 2023-24 season, Chadwick was named the winner of the WHL’s Daryl K. (Doc) Seaman Memorial Trophy as the league’s Scholastic Player of the Year. Additionally, he was named the CHL Scholastic Player of the Year. That season, he was named to the WHL Central Division Second All-Star Team.

Chadwick is the 32nd captain in the Lethbridge Hurricanes’ history and was named to the role ahead of the start of this season.
